Kissing Time Goodbye

2022
Pencil on paper
21 x 29.7 cm (8.3 x 11.7 in)

Sometimes it feels like time is a strange friend that wanders into your life. It wraps us up in its blanket and we tumble around and around, losing ourselves a little more with each moment. Escape feels out of reach, yet there is a quiet comfort in the certainty of it, the ticking clock, the earth keeps spinning, the days go on. But sometimes, in the quiet between ticks, I wonder. Is it time to kiss time goodbye?

Exhibited at Colab 2 Gallery in White Gum Valley, Western Australia (2026).
